To reply to some of customers who have paid but not received - thought you / your solicitors might like to know;
As of yesterday 21/11/11they or liquidators were still shifting stock to other local furniture retailers. Be interesting to see if anything shows up in the accounts - or is it a case of sell it all off quick, pocket the money, no one gets a bean and HEY PRESTO a few months down the line the phoenix rises again!
Shop in question was The Packhouse, Runfold. We tried to buy a dresser that had arrived yesterday. But they had left the FFR price ticket on it and promptly doubled it after they realised (after 1st almost accusing my wife of swapping tickets over!).
Just a crying shame that honest punters pay for goods whilst corrupt bosses dispose of all assets for cash before the recievers pick over the carcass!

I just called the French Furniture Revolution to check on my order of which I have paid £2500.00 deposit to be informed (by answering machine) that the company has ceased trading and are seeking legal advice and that all customers and suppliers will be contacted!!!
Does anyone know any more information?

This is a awful company. I ordered two products from them in April, a dining room table and 8 chairs. I was advised a 14 week delivery time. No problem.
Everytime i called for an update, no one would take the call and was constantly told to leave a message. they email but are very rude and unprofessional. The table eventually arrived at the end of July but had the wrong finish on it. After complaining about this they said that I could only return the table if it had been un-opened. This was impossible as i wouldnt have been able to see that it was wrong without opening it. Furthermore, they said another table could be a further 16 weeks but no compensation was offered.
As for the chairs, every month I have been told since July that it would be completed by the following month.
Its now November and no one is returning my calls and updating me. This company could be fraudulent as they have taken the cash but to date no goods and no correspondence from them.
DO NOT USE!

Awful customer service, demand money up front and then dont deliver for months on end. Terrible- do NOT recommend. Can't comment on the quality of the product since I've never seen it! (6 month + delays)

Finally, a fantastic website offering quality French furniture. With so many French furniture retailers I was delighted to come across this website. I placed an order for a dining set and the items were delivered promptly and look fabulous. I think the quality speaks for itself and the price is good.
I would definitely recommend if you are looking for high end French furniture at affordable prices. Well done French Furniture Revolution and keep it up!
